Exclamation Prepare for re-roll update 6/15

Prepare for a re-roll in the next few hours.
Server has been disconnecting me, while I been trying to go out to Gyala Hatchery to.. watch Reefclaw die a few times. And my guildies cant enter ToA..

I think that this is caused by the glitches, monster drops, henchmen drops.
Im just warning you guys and girls out there farming FoW and others to take advantage of this. Prepare for a Re-roll!

I would like to edit: This is kind of a big deal thing. Everyone is farming FoW.. alot.
Even seen "LFG FoW mob farm" I mean..
What will happen? Prices will drop, everyone will get rich, and this fast.
People will start having their "Special spots" to farm it out.
And this will ruin the economy. Its like having bots running in and out of Elona. So yes, this is a big deal. I have gotten one shard. One green shield (reefclaw) and Im not farming anymore, becouse who knows, ANet is not that dumb not to realise that this is ruining the economy.
Henchmen do drop gold also, all you have to do is call target, they die, and you pick up the gold.
Repeating this a few times you got 1k easy.
Even if you do share this in party.
If anyone thinks "well this is great, I can farm shards without doing anything" go ahead. But what will happen when they drop in price, and are worth 300g at the end?
You will end up getting all the shards you need for the nice FoW-not-worth-the-gold armor.
And in that time, ANET will probably have an update about this.
IE: Updated AI of monsters, they now do not attack eachother.

That would make the shards go up in price, and you already sold all you had, becouse it was a good deal, 50 shards in about 20 runs to FoW, Ill sell them. Thats what everyone is doing.
And you will loose the gold anyway.

This is what happens, its like buying shards at merchant for 1k each, and not even that since the drops are about 2-3 shards each run you are doing to FoW as we speak.
Ruining the economy is not what we need. We got the bots still there to ruin it for us.

Edit again
How lazy have we gotten, that lazy, that we need a bug to do the work for us too?
Noo no, this is not suposed to be there. This is a bug.
And it is only fair, for all, to reroll.
And I hope, that they will. I have gotten my nice items yeah, but I rather lose them with along with a re-roll than keeping them and dont let others have this opportunety.
We got to play fair.

EDIT: A quote that made me happy to see:

Enter the Fissure by yourself.

Run to the spot in front of the Forge where a small band of Shadows stands.

Wait three minutes.

Come back and tell me you still feel the same way.

Thank you Rent.

I edit again, ladder matches? Was there NO ladder matches at all under the rune crash?
Yes there was. So dont say they cant reroll for that.
And for those who say, back to my farming.. I pity the fool.
I think I got a small idea of what will happen.

Wait and see.

EDIT last time
They fixed it, no roll-back all happy
No more loot from mobs vs mobs or henchies

YEII you go ANET! Love you

This is certainly too minor of an issue to warrant a full server setback.

good thing all my greens were obtained days ago. I don't think this is a re-roll, maybe a server shut down then a total bug fix.

Yes what a minor problem for those of you out there getting rich...

Such a major problem for those of us that are at work and can't abuse the bugs. Even worse-for those out there that have worked long and hard for thier money only to see folks make the same amount in 1-2 hours.

Yes it's really fair to leave it like it is and not do a rollback.

Amazing that every time something like this has happened I've been stuck at work! (Ecto reset price, rune farming exploit, now this?) Owell

Edit: No sarcasm fix options:

A. Fix the bug and do a rollback
B. No bug fix, no rollback. It's not fair people weren't in "the right place at the right time" so they could get rich off buggy code.

They wouldn't roll back after so long anyway.

People don't understand that a "Rollback" isn't just pushing some button and inputting the time you want to go too and that it.

Theres alot of work on their end to do, and the influx of emails they get afterwards has to be preplanned. Not only that, but it gets harder and harder on them to do it the longer its waited out. Thats why most times in games, if some exploit lated too long (over a few hours AT MOST) they'll just fix it and cut the loses that happened in that time.

You know... all they have to do is stop monsters from fighting, bring a little love and joy into the world.

So they can all kill us together, as one.

Happy happy joy joy...

Panic/speculation topic yay. >.>

Rollbacks aren't fair to anyone who's played during the time the rollback affects. Seriously doubt there will be one now. The economy isn't ruined, the game isn't falling apart, and I seriously doubt anyone's gotten rich in one day. A rollback now would just be one more reason for me to stop playing GW.

Oh, and btw, no, I'm not one of these people who supposedly got rich from buggy code. <.<

Nothing is happening right now thats making people millionaires >_>

Farming greens was expected before they even put them in the game, and The Monsters fighting each other and dropping items isn't putting anything into the world any faster than if you were actively killing the monsters yourself.

A rollback is basically the very last thing a company maintaining an Online Game can do. There will be lots and loooots of annoyed customers, a lot of anger will find its way into the game, boards and whatever place there might be. Something a company simply can't afford to do often. I expect A-Net do fix this bug asap and ban the ones exploiting it big style for a week or two. The player casually playing won't be that much affected by it.

You see, the first Trader Reset actually had a much larger impact on the game than this bug here will ever have if it is stopped in time... and it was not rolled back. The second trader reset happening though, the one with the bugged Traders allowing everyone to stack up on literally thousands of runes and rares - that was the one causing a rollback.

This is stupid if the rollback happens. I've made some purchases, like the Totem Axe, and a +5 energy sword.

The last time, the rollback was declared after 3 hours of rune drops or soemthing like that.

With the introduction of the new greens as well, in case of a rollback EVERYONE who went and farmed for the greens would have to go back and get them again. I probably wouldn't have the energy to do all that again.

sorry to disappoint you but no reroll for something this small.

this is minor shoplifting compared to the mass looting of the merchants that had them doing a reroll.

not going to happen

back to my farming

Besides monster dropping like this is old news, I used to stand as close as possible for the Ranik mission as the trebuche was fired, triggering the drops

I take it most of the people saying "there's not gonna be a rollback" are the ones who got rich overnight :P

Yes, this is a great idea, let's rollback all the GVGs for important ladder matches that happened in the past two days because some pvers got rich. Now that sounds like an idea that will fly.
